The Foundation of Quality

Flake Epoxy Floor System

This multi-layer process ensures an indestructible bond. Each system is engineered starting with mechanical diamond grinding, a moisture vapor barrier (when necessary), followed by a high-solid base coat, decorative flake saturation, and a polyaspartic topcoat for ultimate protection.

Metallic Epoxy Floor System

This system, much like the flake epoxy system, is a series of layers. Beginning with properly grinded concrete, we place (when necessary), a moisture vapor barrier to block moisture from rising through the concrete. Next, we place a base coat that matches the overall color of the floor. Next is the design coat where your vison actually takes shape. Finally, a polyaspartic top coat is applied to increase the floors durability.

Why not just acid etch and coat?

As an industry standard, epoxy floors require the surface to be profiled to a CSP-2. This enables the epoxy to bond to the concrete effectively. While acid etching can "etch" the concrete, it will leave the floor at risk of peeling and chipping. It cannot create the proper conditions for a reliable and durable floor.

Heavy Duty Strength

We use heavy-duty resins made to withstand the weight of vehicles and daily foot traffic.

Why Choose Milcoat Floors?
